.:. I HACKED our Chaplain’s Laptop!!! .:.
No, I did not commit a crime or any wrongdoing. Actually, I fixed our Chaplain’s laptop… a laptop that I almost messed up! This is the story: I was finishing my Student’s Assistance hours in ATS to fulfill my duties for my scholarship. I was placed in the IT department where my supervisor gives me work, raging from installing network cables to cleaning and fixing computers. Last Friday, my supervisor gave me an assignment to fix our Chaplain’s laptop. Our Chaplain wants to print through the network using the printer in the Faculty office but his laptop could not connect to the printer. When I checked his laptop, I realized that his laptop is configured to the domain of his previous seminary. What happens is that when the laptop connects to the network of ATS, it is considered a Guest, thus it is not privileged to use printer resources. So, since I identified the issue, what I did was to set the laptop into the workgroup network of ATS. What happened next is still mystery to me. The log-in information of our Chaplain was removed! Apparently, his log-in info is associated with his previous domain! His system is XP Pro which is very secure. Furthermore, the file system is NTFS which means I cannot use a DOS boot disk to access its hard drive! So there I was in a state of panic. If I messed up the laptop of our Chaplain, he might not sign my clearance form, I might not graduate! What happened next was almost 5 hours of endeavor to hack the laptop. Well, all those hours eventually paid off. We found a security breach in Windows XP. Well, I think it’s a secret entrance into XP. Kung gusto nyo malaman kung paano ko na hack ang XP… secret!!! Hehehe… So there it is… we were able to hack XP and restore the log-in information of our Chaplain and all his previous settings. We were also able to connect his laptop to the Faculty printer. Mission accomplished… whew!
Thank you Lord!!!

.:. "Pag-ibig... Kalokohan!!!" .:.
I just read an article in National Geographic about the recent studies on the biological aspect and concept of Love. Researchers found out that the chemical profile of people who are in love and people with mental illness are the same. Serotonin levels in the blood of people who are in love and people who are mentally ill are 40% higher than normal individuals.
Implication: fools and people who are in love are difficult to differentiate.
Translation: Ang PAG-IBIG ay isang KALOKOHAN!
